As the Joint Secretary of the Global Youth Parliament, I strongly believe that the key to a brighter future lies in empowering and mobilizing the youth.
Youth as Catalysts for Change
Young people are no longer just the inheritors of the future; they are actively shaping it. Across the world, we see youth-led movements advocating for climate action, gender equality, economic reforms, and social justice. These movements are not just limited to activism but extend into business, technology, and governance. When provided with the right tools and opportunities, young individuals can transform their ideas into impactful actions.
Education and Leadership: A Pathway to Progress
Education is the cornerstone of youth empowerment. However, traditional learning methods are no longer sufficient. We must encourage critical thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship in young minds. Leadership skills should be cultivated from an early age, enabling young people to take ownership of their communities and global initiatives.
At the Global Youth Parliament, our goal is to provide a platform for young leaders to exchange ideas, network with industry professionals, and receive mentorship that will help them navigate the challenges of leadership. We believe that youth must not only dream big but also be equipped with the skills to turn their visions into reality.
